Kawika Concert Hawaiian Koa

Here is a Kawika Concert ukulele in very curly Hawaiian Koa by Mr. David Kawika Hurd of the Big Island of Hawaii. I was graciously allowed to photograph this instrument from a client who came to town for the ukulele picnic last month. This ukulele is Hawaiian Koa front back and sides, with a koa neck as well! The fingerboard and bridge are ebony, and it is equipped with friction tuners. A nice 5 layer bwbwb rosette adorns the soundboard. This ukulele sounds and plays great. Thanks for the photo op! Mahalo.
