Aloha, Here is a very special and rare Kamaka Guitarlele. Actually, this is really a Kamaka Parlor Guitar, as the tuning is from E to E. This ukulele is constructed of very curly Hawaiian Koa. The neck is mahogany. The fingerboard and bridge are ebony. This instrument has a slightly larger headstock than normal, and has a slightly different crown on the headstock. The nut is guitar width. Schaller side gear tuners. There is also an active pickup. The last photo is with a normal Kamaka Tenor 6 string model, so that you can get an idea of the size of the instrument. This ukulele was custom built for it's owner at the Kamaka factory on South St. in Honolulu. I have never seen anything like it.
