Today I am featuring a new builder in the ukulele community. He is from Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii, and his name is Fred Vento. Puapua recently acquired 3 Vento ukuleles, and I would like to share the Soprano model with you today.
The Vento ukulele has a beautiful polyurethane (PU) finish. The instruments are all solid Hawaiian Koa with koa fretboard and bridge, mahogany bracing, and a SOLID KOA NECK!!! The soprano has a very light and delicate tone. The concert is clear and crisp, and the tenor is deep and full.
